A Groovy Interview Meme Sort of Thingy

Here's a fun little meme I lifted from Anno's Place.

These are the rules:

Answer all the questions and replace one question you don't like as much by a new question you prefer.
Then, add a new question.

That's it. Easy, huh? Feel like trying it yourself? Let me know, and I'll post a link to you here:

See, Lauri did it too!

Your Blog <---See That will be YOU, right there!

******************************************

What is your obsession at this moment?
Bike Trek. Training. Nutrition. Muscle development. Fund Raising. (hint, hint - You can donate to the American Lung Association by clicking one of those 2 links at the top of my sidebar. I'll sleep better if you do!)

What are you wearing at the moment?
This:

Do you nap regularly?
Never. If I am asleep during daylight hours, I am sick.

Who did you hug most recently?
GrammaJ

What do you want to change?
My maddening habit of starting projects and not finishing them.

What are you having for dinner?
All beef hotdogs on whole wheat buns with carrots and raw broccoli and dip.

Your last purchase:
Food for our Easter dinner this weekend and 250 thread count sheets on clearance for $10 per set at KMart. :-D

What are you listening to at the moment?

If it were feasible, what 3 chores would you LOVE to pay someone else to do regularly in your stead? dust, vacuum, mop...and I'd throw in a BIG Christmas bonus because I would be SO HAPPY to have those annoyances taken care of for me!

Favorite weather:
70ºF, slight breeze, sunshine, NO BLACK FLIES.

Your goals:
To bring God glory in all that I say and do.

Say something to the person who tagged you:
I wuv you, Anno!

Favorite vacation location:
A new campground adventure!

Films you can watch over and over again: Monster's Inc, Bug's Life, Chicken Run... As you can see, I am a woman of sophisticated tastes.

What movie will you never see again?
I can't remember the name of it. (Apparently I have blocked it from my memory!) I just recall that Mulletman and I watched it many years ago and...it. made. me. SO. angry. Not I-disagree-with-the-premise-of-this-movie angry, but just totally full-of-rage-for-no-identifiable-reason angry. It was quite disconcerting. I actually think Mulletman was just a wee bit afraid that I was coming unhinged!

Favourite tea:
Tazo African Redbush, Twinings English Breakfast. Do NOT give me Lipton. Ugh!

Book you are currently reading:
I glutted myself on Agatha Christie while I was on prednisone and then took a reading break from everything except the Bible. However, today I got The Sunday Philosophy Club (McCall Smith) at the library. It looks yummy!

What do you want to do one day?
- Complete all three days in the bike trek (*send money*) with energy left over at the end of the day,
- Climb Mt. Katahdin,
-Finish and Publish my 2 YA novels and a couple of children's books,
-Figure out how to post my Marvin the Dustbunny comic.

Which quality would you like to have?
The ability to listen to other people with "all my ears". My attention span is so short that I tend to speed read AND speed listen. Not good.

Name one of your qualities:
I forgive easily; I don't hold grudges.

What are you waiting for?
My energy level to magically increase.

Which old fashioned trend do you hope will return soon?
Modest bathing suits, guys removing their hats indoors and during prayers, folks dressing up for church (it's not necessary - I just think it's nice.)

Tell us one of your most embarassiing moments That would be when I accidently tucked the back edge of my dress into my panties and unwittingly "mooned" an entire church full of very conservative Baptists.

I have a really hard time forgiving, and I'm having a really hard time forgiving you for being able to forgive easily.

Every church needs to be mooned every once in a while. God has a sense of humor, doesn't he?

The mooning the church is VERY funny. My sister did something like that but at the front and with a stack of books at a Catholic elementary school- on her first day of school.

Stole your questions- http://thoughtsfrombotswana.blogspot.com/2009/04/saturday-fun.html

Um, I also did the mooning thing, but it was in the hallway at school during passing when I was in 8th grade. It still makes me cringe when I think of it.

Hm, my word verification is: weismon.

We is mon? Who, or what, is/are mon and why is we they/them/it?

I'm laughing so hard at the vision of you accidentally mooning a church full of Baptists that I can hardly reply, but, Groovy, I wuv you, too!

Thanks for playing along. Wishing you all the blessings of Easter!

I hope Kev enjoys the black flies! Ha.

Is that a new McCall Smith book? I have to check that out.

Why is it that our embarrassing moments are at church? I slipped out of my shoe and fell flat on my face as I left the organ to go to my seat one Sunday morning - ARGGGHHHH!

I agree with all of your trends that would be nice to have back.

I enjoyed this and relate to so many of them...not the least of which is people dressing up more ...for church...hey, and maybe for work, too...and removing hats indoors. A fun one, this.

Oh Groovy! The last one you listed has me howling!!! (with laughter that is)

Good morning, dear Groovy:-)

I'm finally taking the time to catch up with EVERYONE today...I know I'll have crossed eyes and a headache at the end of the day from spending all day at the computer but hey, it's worth it! hehe

Loved your answers to the meme...you mooned the people at church, I mooned the people in a restaurant! lol Why can't these things happen when you're alone in the house???? Sigh.

I was reading all of your posts that I had missed and I was fascinated by how beautiful the eggs turned out by using natural dyes!! Gorgeous!!!

I do hope that you're feeling much better by now and Happy belated Anniversary to you and Mulletman:-) xoxo

I'll go with the no BLACK FLIES! I am not sure what kind of flies we have but they are big - forest flies, evergreen flies... Annoying flies... But it is a sign that spring is on it's way.

It is so nice to learn more about you! Hugs!
