I have managed to make a hideous mess of my blog.
Now I can't stop laughing!
I give Blogger color commands and it mocks me. This is making my attempts at design rather ridiculous looking.
Oh well, I'll keep experimenting. In the meantime, you can come back every ten minutes to lose your appetite...

GAH!! I tell Blogger "red" and it snickers. I select a tasteful green for the links and it chuckles. I insist on on butterscotch and it laughs maniacally.
It won't do ANYTHING I SAY!

LOL - - - I'm glad it's not just me. Every time I change my blogger header picture, It takes me several tries - - - SEVERAL tries to get it right and I always wonder what people will think if they wander on in while I'm doing all that!
I think it's pretty! But keep trying.

Well my first thought clicking on here was how pretty the header is, so there!
I think the photo is lovely- is it yours? I also like the apricot yogurt colour.
The photo is mine. The colors aren't awful now, but I'd like a little more contrast. I'll keep tweaking (if Blogger will let me).

But, I do like the colors and the picture is lovely. You're absolutely right, though, Blogger can be a royal pain to work with, which is why my blog tends to stay the same for long periods of time.
