A Fluffy Post That Requires No Brain Power

Remember this post? I was just being silly, but this morning I came THAT CLOSE to putting yeast in my soymilk smoothie. Methinks that would have made for one very miserable day. Thanks be to God for helping me realize my faux pas before I actually dumped it into the shaker!

Seriously.

I see that other bloggers are posting photos of their awesome flowers. Though I strive for a nice blend of mediocrity in my blog, I thought I'd be remiss if I did not join the trend. Here are my tulips.

Wait, those were my TWO LIPS (and some teeth). Sorry 'bout that. Here are the flowers:

Pretty, eh? And here's a bird we've been seeing alot lately:

He's a male white-breasted nuthatch. Like spring flowers, nuthatches are very pretty. Pretty ANNOYING, that is!

Alow me to introduce you to Mr. Nutty. He came to our feeder yesterday and has, apparently, decided to STAY. Every 15 to 30 minutes, he does this:

It was cute yesterday. It was not cute at 5-sinkin'-30 this morning. It is also not cute when it happens over and over and over and over and over.

I have shooed him away. He comes back immediately and peeks at me over the windowsill. I have opened the windows on either side of him and talked to him, but to no avail. All I can figure is he sees his reflection in the glass and is involved in a very egocentric territory battle. I don't have anything useful to stick on the glass to deter him...except maybe the site of a bebe gun.

JUST KIDDING!!!

You know how dogs kind of whine and twitch in their sleep? Hamsters do too. Just thought you needed to know that.

You're welcome.

Ok...gotta go. My wrists are sore from biking. I'm doing therapy exercises and using ice and ibuprofen to heal them up. Typing is NOT one of the recommended exercises!

However, I'm SURE that receiving a donation from YOU for the American Lung Association (for my Trek Across Maine ride) would make me feel better - much, MUCH better! Just click the donation link(s) in my sidebar. It's tax deductible!!
