A MeMe to Fill In Space Because I am Procrastinating. Again.

Stole this from Rita at Jungle Hut:

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Knowing that God spoke and I obeyed.

What is your greatest fear?
I'm not an overly anxious person...I guess my biggest fear is that I might lose my husband or a child/children somehow. Yet even if something like that happened, I know God would sustain me. That helps me not to fret and moves my fears more to the level of "walking up on stage to sing with toilet paper hanging out of my dress".

Which historical figure do you most identify with?
Hmmm. I've gotta think on this one... There are many people I admire, but identify with? I can't think of any!

Which living person do you most admire?
My pastor's wife; She's godly, funny, practical, real, and has managed to maintain her girlish figure. :D

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Procrastination, followed by lack of compassion. Or vice versa!

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Just wanting to say their piece without hearing the other person/people.

What is your greatest extravagance? Gee, we're not very extravagant at all in most areas. However, we DO spend money to buy high quality musical instruments. We have a full drum set, an acoustic 6 string, a 12 string, an electric 6 string, my bass, my digital piano, a mic and sound equipment, etc. But we also have a free auto harp, free congas, free hand percussion instruments and 2 free recorders (a wooden soprano and a plastic alto)

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Efficiency (Inefficient people have way more fun AND they burn lots more calories running up and down the stairs!)

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
Hello, Muffin top!

Which living person do you most despise?
No one, right now

What is your greatest regret?
Not having more kiddos when I was younger

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
After Christ, my husband and kids and grandkids

What is the quality you most like in a man?
Honest attentiveness

What is the quality you most like in a woman?
The ability to laugh with me (or AT me, as the case may be)

Which talent would you most like to have?
To actually be able to PLAY the piano while I sing.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Four awesome kids!!!!

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be? In truth, I AM coming back when Christ establishes His millenial kingdom.
Hypothetically, I would come back as...a computer printer with an endless ink supply, so I could make some poor computer owner happy (at least on one front!)

What do you most value in your friends?
Godliness

Who are your favorite writers? God, C.S.Lewis, Tolkien, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Dumas, and many, many more!

Who is your favorite hero/heroine of fiction?
Pollyanna Whittier. I so admire her faithfulness to her father's memory and her determination to believe the best about others - often to the point of changing the way they act.

What is it that you most dislike? Someone trying manipulate me.

How would you like to die? I really don't want to die...I'm thinking I'd rather just be "taken" like Enoch! However, if I have to die, I prefer to go bravely and with a godly demeanor that will lead others to Christ.

What is your motto?
Semper Gumbi! (Always flexible!) Why? Because no matter what the circumstances, God is good, He knows what He is doing and He is always in control.

Oh this was great. It was a blessing to be able to get into your head/heart a little more.
I LOVE your perception of
EFFICIENT people! Made me laugh!

Good stuff! I love the efficiency comment, and I would love for you to be my printer - I think HP purposely
makes those stupid cartridges run out so quickly - outrageous prices!

I e-mailed you about your requests - sad!

Great thought-provoking questions and answers, Groovy!

(And honest attentiveness...oh yeah, I'd have to agree that is right up there for me too!) :)

Happy New Year to you and your family, dear friend!

I agree with you on the efficiency, although, less stair climbing would be nice. But, you can find the most interesting things when you're looking for something else.

Also, Semper Gumbi=awesome!

firla is the word verification. Much awesome there, too!
