A Sure Sign That it IS, Indeed, Spring in Maine

This morning I RODE MY BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, I had to wear winter gloves and ear muffs and 3 layers of clothing. I had to wheel the bike precariously over the ice flow that still claims the driveway outside our garage. And I had to grit my teeth going down hill because I was, well, FREEZING!

But all in all it was won.der.ful.

LOL... I had the same problem yesterday on a morning walk. Froze my patootie off AND nearly broke my neck on ice.

But, darn it all... it's APRIL.

Glad to hear you got out and about.

Hooray! Sometimes I think it helps to give nature a nudge -- remind it where it needs to be heading. And you were on a bike!

LOL...I'm glad you were able to ride your bike despite having to wear several articles of warm clothing.

Good for you, Groovy! :D
It's spring according to the calendar, and that's what's important, I say! ;)

That was like us on the water rides...we gritted our teeth and shivered on them, but we were determined since after all, it was southern California!

We just got back from the long road trip last night in fact...and I just posted Part 1!

AW Springtime in the north, and good for you, getting out there and moving like that.

Now here in the deep south, we have had our air conditioners running for a couple of months now! I would enjoy some ice somewhere I think on most days. What a different environment we live in!

Woo Hoo! I am rejoicing with those who rejoice!

Just think...it's supposed to be around 80 here today and my bike is caked with dust! Yet, I am so happy for you! God is good no matter the weather or circumstance we are in!
