*EDIT* 6:39 PM: I've only netted 150 or so extra words thus far today...however, the day is not over yet!

Thank you all for the input. I am going to have the family assume "C" (they have good reason to do so - or think they do), but hoo boy is somebody going to be in the dog house when they find out that it's "D"!
See my previous post if you have no idea what I am is talking about.
(Did you notice how it increases your word count to separate compound words and contractions? I have noticed!!!!)
I did not write at all yesterday. It was sheer torture because I had so much to say, but I have decided not to write on Sundays - give the ole brain a rest for worshipping the Lord and plot mulling.
Today's goal? 2,000 words.
That may be a bit ambitious considering:
-schooling the girls
-vacuuming the entire downstairs because Mulletman raked yesterday and the girls enjoyed his handiwork thoroughly before coming in for the evening and dropping leaf bits EVERYWHERE.
-visiting with Pretty Mom and my adorable grandchildren.
-getting my new driver's license
-Doing my hair and putting on make-up so I don't look like a dork on my new license picture
-putting up hundreds of "Vote for Pedro" signs in my small town
In the meantime, let me show you some cute little nestlings I found in my yard. Hard to believe there are still baby birds here when it is so cold out!
I certainly hope the Mama Bird feeds them soon. They look hungry!
OK...I'm off. I'll update you all later!

So what are you feeding those birds for dinner tonight? :)
I think those birds could vacuum for their supper.
But while you take time off, you give me time to catch up. Except for the heat pump installers who are in here distracting me. Unfortunately, my novel takes place in the pre-heat pump era and so I can't put them in it.
Smile purty for your license pitcher.
Those nestlings look like they have been raking leaves! I hope they get a good supper!
DL picture? Does that mean what I think it means?
Good luck with your word count -- I love hearing about the story in progress!
Karen: WORMS!!! Bwa-ha-ha-ha!
LP: That's too bad, because it sounds like you had Larry, Mo and Curly there to do the fixin' - could've made quite the comedy chapter!
Anno: I dunno...what do you THINK it means? (and I want chocolate for my birthday on Friday, November 7th. Thankyouverymuch.)
See.. I thought it was Thursday, the 6th. Just needed the reminder!
