Mulletman spilled coffee on our (reportedly) rose colored bedroom carpet.
I cleaned it up. (I offered to, he didn't just "leave it" for me.)
Now I have a lovely CLEAN streak in the midst of my unconscionably dirty carpet.
"Rent a Steam Cleaner" has been added to today's to-do list!

Don't you hate when that happens? Like when someone drags a finger across your previously evenly dusty car?
Harrumph.
Are you EVER going to clean that floor?! = D
hahahaha!!! nassssty gross carpet you have there, woman.
It's a good thing that fsg and ncf live so far away or I'd pop 'em one for the smart ass remarks!
Better get busy! Clean that carpet!
Don't ya HATE it when that happens??? I mean, a nasty old clean spot to show up the REST of the floor.
At least it wasn't nail polish. That's my specialty - - - nail polish on white carpet.
LOL! I've learned to feather the edges of the clean versus dirty spots to make them less obvious *grin*
Sure have missed you, been so darned busy. Best wishes for a wonderful day!
"Events" have a way of forcing us don't they!!!!! I like the whole oats but still microwave them. We like them just with sugar and milk, or mash a banana in them, or sometimes with cinammon.

We rented one of those cleaners once but it didn't do a great job of cleaning our carpet. Either it was broken or we're beyond help.
LOL Marianne articulated my comment better than I ever could.
Weren't you even slightly tempted just to blur in some of the dirt from the surrounding carpet? Or cover the cleaned spot with an attractive doily? Or maybe a plant?
Renting a steam cleaner... that's just so, so extreme!
Our carpet was so old, when we brought in the mean machine to get it clean, part of the carpet actually disappeared! (it unraveled and got sucked into the rollers. It. Was. Lovely.)
That's about the time we decided to just rip out all the carpet and stick to hardwood.
Oh, and if you drop the stereo remote onto a hardwood floor... it WILL break...
