In Which Groovy is Very Excited to Actually be Having a GIVEAWAY!!!!

Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy!

I am SO excited!

I finished my scavanging shopping and found many groovy items to include in my prize package. Are you ready? Here it is!

The package includes:
-A 4 pack of fun, colorful pens
-6 fabulous highlighters
-A pack of sugarless gum to keep you from noshing while you write
-A bar of delicious dark chocolate in case you decide to nosh anyway ;-)
-2 emory boards so your nails don't go click, click, click when you type (I HATE that!)
-some hand lotion so those hardworking hands can be pampered
-A pretty notepad for your poetic inspirations or notes to your mother/sweetheart/child/friend/coworker/enemy/self/dog/cat/doctor/lawyer/mailman

AND, my favorite..........

-A totally groovy RECYCLED notebook with dividers and pockets and lots of blank pages that are begging to be filled with your writing genius. It's small enough to carry along on outings and big enough to hold a novella.

I know I said something about a "basket", but I got to thinking about postage and all and decided the bulk would not conducive to "cheap", which I am - Groovy and Cheap!

This package will only be available to U.S. residents. (See the previous paragraph).

How can you win? Well, check out the http://betweenthelinesandmore.blogspot.com/2010/04/blogmania-early-bird-check-list.html and then be back here as early as you can on Friday, April 30 to see my entry rules. They'll be short and sweet and Groovy. I promise!

heh-heh-heh

No, I didn't mean anything by that conniving snicker...

In other bloggy news, most of you know that every so often I get roped into teaching highschool science to homeschooled kiddos. This year I am teaching biology labs to 8 students. It's been a wonderful class! Last week we finally dissected frogs. It went beautifully. The specimens were actually fairly decent and we were able to locate all the body parts.

Of course, some of the students had difficulty labeling said parts (You can double click the photo to read my student's labels):

Many thanks to Joel for his creative, but misguided work!

Looking forward to signing up!

Oh, high school biology - yuck!! But I have to say that finding those body parts in the frog was fascinating.
