I have just signed up for NaNoWriMo.
My working title is "Through the Molasses Swamp".
I take great comfort in the fact that I am only expected to write "laughably awful yet lengthy prose".
I can do that.
50,000 words in 30 days.
This is the calm before the storm...

Impressed! I am so impressed. I have thought about it but back down... My spine curves and slinks back in weariness.

Hugs to you Brave Groovy Lady!
I give you credit for signing up. There is no way I could do it! Good luck!
Congrats! You can do it!
Holy moly, I just finished reading about your moving adventures and I almost started to cry and cry and cry! lol Geesh, what an adventure but hey girl, YOU DID IT!!!! It's no wonder your body decided let you now in no uncertain terms that you had over extended the stress factor! lol Hope your mom is now all settled in and that life has returned to normal...errrr...as normal as can be! lol xoxo
Oh, I need to be sure I've added you to my buddy list.
I can't wait.
(and my word verification is: nojskvgg. I'm afraid I cannot verify that's even a sound, much less a word).
Sounds exciting! :D
And by the way, about the crazy comment you left...you'll be happy to know that my mom (the daughter of the subject of my post!) thought it was SO funny. Good think my 80 yr old mom has just as crazy a sense of humor as you do! ;)
WOW! Go fer it, Groovy. Better you than me.
I'll be watching - from a distance! I can't even imagine making such a committment. It'll be good to see what you come up with.
You can do it!
Although I have to say, it must have been a man who decided November was the month for this kind of thing. A woman would never have picked the month in which we have Thanksgiving, the month before Christmas, to try to write 50,000 words.
So is Through the Molasses Swamp an autobiography? hee hee
