I'm So Relaxed That It's Hard to Tell Me From the Chair!

Well, I didn't get to everybody today. I was just too leisurely minded to push through. Instead I took my time and meandered in an out of blogs throughout the day. I also took healthy breaks for some minor chorage and kiddage. I'll catch the rest of you on Monday.

And NOW: I know my children are weird. Don't try to talk me out of it or tell me they are normal or imaginative, 'cause I KNOW better.

They're just WEIRD!

How do I know this with such certainty?

They are playing with Play-Doh right now. They are making the Play-Doh into goat udders and goat hooves. They are putting bandanas over their faces and pretending to be goat dentists.

Now that you know this, you must admit that your children HAVE NEVER DONE THIS! I'll bet that even those with prodigals can't claim that their wayward children EVER made goat udders out of Play-Doh.

Nope. That could only happen in the Groovy household.

Edit: You are all so sweet. Several of you have already read this post AND commented but you said nothing about the fact that I commited the dire error of using "their" instead of "they're". Fortunately I spotted it today and, after a brief moment of deep and sheer mortification at my boo-boo, I fixed it.

Gosh, I haven't thought about goat udders in years.

Okay, your kids are weird. Just kidding! What's with the goat facination? Did they recently come into contact with one? Just curious. *wink*

Goat dentists? Now that is a first...

Not the first time you've made me laugh, though. My husband just asked, what's going on over there?

Reading Groovy, I tell him. Now he understands.

NOPE I don't recall goat udders out of playdoh!

It made me giggle and sing to find you had left me a comment or two or three!! God bless my dear Groovy!

YOu are hilarious! And I will have to admit that my prodigal never did that, for sure. Who knows what else he did, but I don't think he would have thought of that.

I'm back and trying to catch up!! Wonderful trip. Great visit with Diane.

:) Ok, so, I was feeling kinda sleepy and unmotivated today and I thought, I KNOW where I need to go. I headed straight to your blog which I haven't visited in a long time and here I am laughing and smiling! :) Thanks for waking up one sleepy mama. And, for the record, my kids would not even know HOW to make udders out of playdoh and do you spell utters or udders. With a d. yes. See how utterly udderless we are?!
