As part of our late (postponed due to illness) homeschool Purim celebration, I told the kids some jokes. Then THEY told me some jokes:
**************
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Kylie
Kylie who?
Banks! (Kylie rolls eyes and looks thoroughly disgusted that I didn't know who she was)
************
Why's the chicken cross the road?
His feet hurt (giggle, giggle)
************
What did the wasp...um....um....um....um...What did the wasp...um (It's a BEE, Josiah.) OH YEAH! What did the bee say to the um...um...um... (Flower) FLOWER!!!????
Whatcha doin', honey?
************
Knock, knock.
Who's there
Choo-choo train
Choo-choo train who
Choo-choo-trains go Whooooo-whooooo!
*************
Then Girly-Girl told this family favorite:
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Interrupting cow.
Interrupting co....MOOOO!
OK...so that one really IS funny!

The ground is still almost completely covered with snow BUT:
WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS! WE HAVE ROBINS!
I'm just a wee bit excited 'bout it...Can you tell?
Aw, I love seeing the robins. In my part of the world, we don't get them every year. But when they do come, it's so fun to watch them....
ReplyDeleteDo you have robins??? hehe I'll be just as excited as you once I see our first one here too! lol So far no sign of them. We don't usually see them until April here. Loved the kiddies' jokes...lol Our future comedians maybe?? hehe xox
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing quite like a kid trying to tell a joke!
ReplyDeleteRobins are a wonderful gift - as are all birds with the possible exception of the noisy jay!
Good shopping, girl! There is always that jammie problem, though!
Have soon anniversary!
It's 54*, we have Robins and geese are returning...yeah! But, around here you just can't be sure of anything...
ReplyDeleteCute jokes, I like the bee-flower one.
I sent out your prize...I have sent out several but am still waiting for addresses from two people.
Hugs to you!
We have rabbits! And I'm so NOT excited about that!
ReplyDeleteHappy spring anyway!
My prize is coming...Hurray!!!
ReplyDeleteBunnies!!! I want a bunny for a prize!
ReplyDeleteOur kids must be related...mine tell the same knock knock jokes, with just a few deviations! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd we first heard the interrupting cow joke on our favorite listening set of tapes, "The Pond". (This is like a Christian radio show that is hilarious!)
And robins...yay! I remember getting them last month and feeling the same way...not that I'm gloating that our spring comes earlier...(OK, maybe a little!) teehee (But this week it's rainy and cold!)
