Signs of Corruption

I hate to admit it, but there are some signs that the little girlies are being corrupted by their older sister.

See for yourself:

  1. BRILLIANT!!!

As a family with 7 kids we have had an ‘odd socks’ pile in the laundry that actually had more single, divorced and/or separated socks in it than we have ever had as pairs of socks.

I’m off to set up a Singles Bar for socks in the laundry and pair them up as ‘fun couples’ and distribute them among the kids.

  2. Well, DUH! What do you expect? I mean they ARE related!! And...you gave birth to all three little funsocksgirls! Hope you are enjoying having all 3 of them, and J-man too!

  3. I am wearing monkeys on one foot, and either stripes or shoes and hats on the other (it's tucked under and I don't feel like getting up to check).

The best part? I have another pair JUST LIKE IT!

Hm, it looks like someone is almost cheating by wearing two striped socks of similar colors. I always consider myself matched when that happens.

Yay for Funsocksgirl, showing her little sisters the path to fun footwear.

  4. The simplification of the laundry here almost brings me to tears. You know how I am with laundry...

  10. I love fun socks - but I've never mixed and matched before! Good idea. My grandkids never have matching socks - not planned that way, but oh, well!

  11. I know you guys don't live in the bay area. This is the style here. NO MATCHING SOCKS! But why?

  12. Well, Corn Dog,

Funsocksgirl comes by her name honestly. She has occasional bouts with mood swings and depression. Knowing she is wearing mismatched, colorful and sometimes goofy socks helps to lift her spirits.

She's a tad odd, but she brings joy to everyone in her weird, wonderful way. :-)

  13. Thanks for your comment Grovy. I copies Channel of Healings remark and noticed the Mis-spelling but was not going to correct it. May be she meant preserved for all I know. Truth be told for 70 years old I am pretty well preserved!!! Hee hee. Always enjoy you and your wonderful sense of humor.
